Notes: A huge Thank You to John Buxton, Mark Lang and George for arranging and
hosting such a great visit.
The party was split in two so that a full tour of both operating lines could be
undertaken traveling in the front and rear cabs of 73118, which was in service
especially for our visit. It worked in the afternoon as well to celebrate the
50th anniversary of the introduction of the type.
Not seen was Diesel 20228, which was in a small windowless shed leased to
Traditional Traction.
Unimog Q424HFR - 189450 was also present. This was built for the U.N. and has
now been purchased by Cambrian Transport to be converted to Road/Rail.
