Notes: A very big thank you must be made to all at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway for a fantastic visit. Particular thanks must go to Richard at Winchcombe, Glyn (Main Sheds) and Tony (North Glos Rly) at Toddington. The largest thank you must go to John Kettle, who was our guide for the day. He not only helped with arranging the visit but stayed with us all day to assist in our exploration of the railway. All participants agreed the day was extremely successful from the excellent bacon butties on the first train of the day to searching Cheltenham Racecourse for internal user wagons. The CARS members on the trip all made donations to the railway, which has a major appeal ongoing due to the Gotherington Land Slip. There are details at gwsr.com for making donations on-line or details for posting cheques.
