Bullrush Peat Co., 135 Megahera Lane Road, Co. Derry (visit).
Gauge 750mm: Diesel: 2 - MR 40S307/67 reb Bullrush(B)/2009,
L6 - Schoma 5602/99, Schoma 5603/99 (slave unit).
Wagons: 26, 27, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 42, 43, 48, 50 plus 13 un-numbered opens and 1 Hudson chassis used as a rail mover.

No.2 is used as a shunter at the tranfer point.

Bullrush Peat Co., Newferry Rd, Ballaghy, Magherafelt, Co. Derry (visit).
Gauge 750mm: Diesel: Schoma 4992/89 (slave unit), L4 - Schoma 5601/99.
Wagons: 12 un-numbered opens, 1 Hudson chassis used as a rail mover.

Notes:
The loco is currently used as a Taxi for personnel to reach the bog.
The two MR locos located here were reported as scrapped by our guide, however, these are stored on a different part of the same site, and were not seen.

Prior to the next two locations, members were treated to a Civic Reception and lunch at Bagenal's Castle in Newry. This was organised between Des Murphy of Southern Regional College and Newry, Mourne and Down District Council. The Chairperson, Naomi Bailie, greeted us and everyone made us feel very welcome.

Tram: UID b/o u/r thought to be a lower saloon of an open top double deck ex Belfast Corporation Tram, to be restored in a Bessbrook & Newry guise.
Tram Trailer: UID b/o thought to be a lower saloon of an enclosed double deck ex Belfast Corporation trailer, to be used to assist the restoration of the other tram.

The tram is being restored by a collaboration of partners, including the Tourism, Media and Construction Departments from the Southern Regional College. The Society Events Secretary was interviewed on camera by some students as part of their course.
